I know that it doesn't really matter. I know that I should let it go. But just stop it!

I always assumed it was a kind of speech impediment. They're doing it on purpose?

I'd assumed that it was deliberate, a bit like saying "arks" for "ask". But I know I'm getting old when I think young people don't talk properly.

Here, the equivalent of arks is aks. I'm aksing you a question. That gets to me too.

Those people will be looking after us when we're too old to do it ourselves. They won't understand why we get so ANGRY when they speak.
