All seeing eyes
Jul. 23rd, 2012 03:43 pmMy old glasses were held together with super glue. They were very old. I went to the opticians, had an eye test, and got a new pair.
It's amazing how I'd got used to sub-optimal vision, partly because my eyes have changed, but also because my old glasses were so battered. The new glasses gave my visual cortex a shock - everything was suddenly had more details, as if I'd run the "sharpen" filter in my mental photoshop (or gimp, but "my mental gimp" sounds, er, wrong).
I ordered an identical pair but sunglasses, but I don't get them until Saturday morning...
