Symlink amusement
Jan. 20th, 2012 11:52 amYou can't have *nix-style symbolic links in Windows, can you? Turns out that you can, and they're called junctions, but there's no readily available way to create them. Step forward, SysInternals junction.
Nice. But don't, as I did, create a link in your start menu that points to the root of your C drive. The task bar and start menu stopped responding or even redrawing correctly. As soon as I deleted the junction it came back to life.
