Long, long ago I was a bored teenager at home on my own. Abba were on TV, or Iron Maiden were playing in town. Even though I had no one to go with, I decided to see Iron Maiden. This was at the time of their second album, before their biggest chart success.

That Wheatus song is about finding that girls actually like Iron Maiden and want to go to see them. This is a fiction. To be honest, I didn't enjoy the gig that much. I actually like Abba more, but it was hard to admit it to myself then.
