Software of the day

I like StrokeIt (stop sniggering).

I use mouse gestures in the Opera web browser, and it becomes so intuitive that I'm confused when other programs don't respond to my right-drags. I had found a way to make it work in IE, and there are extensions for FireFox/SeaMonkey, but now I can do it everywhere. The configuration is a bit clunky, though.

Song of the day

Last summer we went to Powis castle. As we went into one room, YC recognised a portrait of Charles II and starting rapping - "I'm the king who brought back partying" - which proves the educational value of TV. I might have taken a punt at it being Charles II but I wouldn't have known.
