Been to the dentist. A while ago I had the lovely root canal thing on one tooth. He says I should now have it crowned - £189 and two more visits. Bad: going to the dentist; expense. Good: I'll get a gold tooth.
Bought a Christmas tree, left the children to decorate it, and they ended up arguing about gaming instead. I felt this was at least partly my fault, so I put some cartoons on at tea time to get some smiles. This also lead to discussion of why one of the characters was called the Scarlet Pumpernickel. There's so much stuff that you don't know when you're young. Similarly when you're old, I suppose.
At the garden centre where we bought the tree, they had a big selection of xmas decorations, including black. I asked YC if we should have a gothmas tree, and he knew what I meant. Then later on he'd never heard the word "woot". There's so much stuff...
