Catch up

Stuff's been happening, and I haven't been writing about it here, so here's some edited highlights.

• We had a bit of a do for my SO's birthday. 28 people sat down to eat in our house, but only just fitted. As a lot of people didn't know each other, there was a quiz. Everyone had provided facts about themselves, and each person got one other person's fact and had to find out which person it was: that had to talk to people they didn't know.
• It's nogopubmo. There was lots of alcohol left over from my SO's birthday but it will have to wait for December.
• At work I'm on a project to migrate some software from one data model to another, which isn't nearly as bad as it sounds.
• We're getting a new boiler. It's going to cost a huge amount. They're coming to fit it in December. It will be cold.
• Pumpkins
• I'm a real official scout leader. I organised a Guy making evening.
