We went to the England Youth Championships this weekend. YC was worried that he'd lose, but of course he did well. My father & stepmother came. I wondered how this was going to go, but YC likes a crowd of supporters, so that was good.
I've said I'll become a scout leader. I've been doing a lot of scout stuff as a helper for just over a year, but now I get training and a uniform. I also get to spend even more evenings at scout things. I'm already booked for a leader's meeting and the regular scout evening this week. I hope I'm ready for the responsibility...
