Lunch

It's half term, so my SO isn't making packed lunches for the children. This means that she isn't making them for me either. I hate buying lunch. The coice is either affordable or tasty - you can't have both. Obviously I *could* make my own sandwiches...

Uneven keel

I'm usually pretty relaxed. One thing that winds me up is people persistently not listening to what I'm saying, particlularly if they talk across me. This was happening to me today at work, and eventually I lost it. I yelled at the miscreant. Poor fellow. He was actually trying to help. I walked away to calm down and went gack to apologise, but now I've made myself look an idiot in front of a whole floor-full of people.

It's been a bit stressful lately. There's a lot of juggling of tasks to do, and a lot of co-ordination between different groups, and I'm past my tolerance point for both off those.
